Project manager in plant construction (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team we are looking for

Project manager (m/f/d) in plant construction 

at the Grevenmacher site in Luxembourg


 

Tasks:

  • Assuming technical and commercial responsibility for the planning, implementation and monitoring of projects in the field of switchgear construction
  • Coordination and management of the interfaces between different departments, such as sales, purchasing and production, to ensure a smooth project flow
  • Monitoring the production and assembly of switch cabinets in compliance with technical specifications and quality standards
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations (e.g. DIN, VDE, EN 61439, EN 60204)
  • Implementation and monitoring of quality assurance measures to ensure the highest quality standards
  • Close dialogue and coordination with clients, external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal project results
  • Creation, maintenance and continuous updating of project documentation
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs as well as carrying out post-calculation and supplement management
  • Identifying and implementing potential savings and measures to increase efficiency
  • Support in the calculation and preparation of offers and offer follow-up

Qualifications:

  • Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable qualification (e.g. state-certified electrical engineer)
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of control cabinet construction or plant engineering

Specialist skills:

  • Sound knowledge in the use of EPLAN Electric P8 and confident handling of MS Office applications
  • Basic programming knowledge (S7-TIA / WinCC) an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of the relevant standards and regulations in switchgear construction
  • Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
  • Good written and spoken German and English; knowledge of French is an advantage

  • Strong communication skills and persuasiveness to motivate teams and successfully drive projects forward
  • Strong interpersonal skills to bring different personalities together, resolve any conflicts constructively and promote productive team dynamics
  • Assertiveness with a sure instinct to make clear decisions and positively shape change
  • Flexibility, openness and enthusiasm for new challenges, combined with a strong willingness to learn and innovate
